3 Levels of Listening

Listening with Purpose - Subliminal Persuasion...
Part of Paul McKenna's success in subliminal persuasion is achieved through utilising level three listening. He establishes deep trust within you and fires up your response channels, where he will access your unconscious realm, and it is at this level that the dance of subliminal persuasion begins.
You want to instantly add weight and impact to the way you deliver, sell and intentionally express potent messages. Level three method of listening will give you access to the unconscious patterns of thinking in your audience. With this information you will instinctively know what an individual likes or dislikes, this knowledge will be at your fingertips because you have opened up unconscious communication.
Listening is not solely about the auditory process. You listen with your eyes and you listen with your gut. Thoughts move about four times as fast as speech, and at level three, you will access the domain of instinct and intuition. This will enable you to rapidly increase you cognition speed, vital in developing the ability to hear what is said, understand it, and then make an informed judgement before you re-engage in the interaction.
This ability to increase cognition is one major reason why Paul McKenna utilises level three listening. The information he attains with this method he then uses to understand and read people at four times the speed of anyone else, unless they too are using level three listening.

Level One Autobiographical Listening
Level one is when your total attention is on your own thoughts, feelings and emotions, and how things are affecting you personally. You are focused entirely on your own internal processes.
Recall now a meeting of twelve colleagues where the manager sets tasks for everyone to achieve a set goal. Have you ever wondered why there are twelve different interpretations about what was said? The reason is that everyone was listening at level 1, being concerned with how they will be impacted by the request instead of listening to what is discussed about and agreed upon. When you are listening at level one you are not aware of what is happening outside of yourself and your attention is focused totally inward.
Advantages of Level One Listening
-
It is critical when engaging in a personal experience such as riding a roller coaster or gazing at the stars that you are in level one, this is self-reflective listening.
-
Level one is when you are associated with your feelings and emotions and you feel alive and connected with yourself.
-
The ability to be associated with your own feelings at level one is vitally important in order for you to attain level three. |
