Cultivate Posture Control Master Class
Always, always lead from the front with courage, command and conviction...
Distracter
This posture will get you into all sorts of mischief. It is known as the flirtatious posture, because it is all about angles and shimmy movements. It is infectious and astonishing at the way in which it brings relief into serious presentations. Just be warned... if you receive a dozen offers for dinner at the end of your presentation, you know you have been a distracter. The body alignment is asymmetrical with gestures rising upward. The voice will rise at the end of a sentence. Head will be at an angle and the rest of the body will follow, hips will swing as your legs move around and you may cross your feet, this is an unconscious act in an attempt to stop yourself moving around, it is also sensual and passionate.
The meaning that this posture demonstrates to the audience is: 'I don't know', ' It is not my fault' and 'I'm fun, not serious'. |
