“Great coaching gives people time and space to think – so they can focus on achieving meaningful change for themselves and others.

It’s also extremely self-affirming knowing that you’re being listened to and that, when challenged, it’s within a safe and trusting environment.”

The Personal Bit
60 seconds’ work and play…

3 words that sum you up?
Inquisitive. Warm. Disarming.

And 3 words that don’t?
Mean. Selfish. Boring.

The best audience/coachees?
Those curious about both themselves and others, and keen to explore what is possible.

What makes you laugh or smile?
Whenever I watch my mum play charades - and her unforgettable attempt to enact the Spider Pig character from The Simpsons!

Talk to me about…
You… what you enjoy, what you find frustrating and what you want to change.

Ideal superpower?
Teleportation with time travel!

Biggest ‘Doh!’ moment?
Managing to get locked in the loo at a client’s premises just as people were heading home for the day. (I eventually made it out.)

When not coaching, you’ll find me…
Hillwalking in the Cotswolds or having a nice glass of wine with family and friends.

My Objective:

“To use coaching to enable others to realise their potential – and become the best and most authentic version of themselves.”

Executive Coach

Sue has been coaching Executives for over 25 yrs. Her mix of natural empathy, keen psychological understanding and strong business insight enables clients to significantly enhance their leadership ability and successfully navigate challenging business contexts.

She excels in helping leaders and senior teams build capability and confidence – especially when coaching high potential leaders through transition and change – and is equally adept at coaching every stage of the executive career path; from those starting their partner or executive role to those transitioning into NED and portfolio careers.

Sue has a deep understanding of the issues and dilemmas facing CEOs, executive committees and boards. Her in-depth understanding of organisational systems across different sectors and cultures means that she swiftly gets to the crux of behavioral and commercial matters.

Highly regarded as a coach, clients value her insight into how to become board-ready and, just as crucially, how to make a positive impact once appointed. Supportive, warm, pragmatic and insightful, she focuses on helping clients become more self-aware and raise performance so that they can make a tangible difference in their role.
